Dehydrated soft wheat flour sourdough, with addition of brewer’s yeast as a starter.
Instructions for use:
Dried sourdough ideal for making pizzas, focaccias, bread (even with a bread machine) and brioches.
The sourdough intensifies the flavour of the finished product and improves the workability of the dough, increasing its elasticity, while the brewer’s yeast, which acts as a starter, allows you to optimise the leavening times (even 2-4 hours at room temperature, depending on the recipe and the type of flour used). Suitable for both sweet and savoury preparations that require natural leavening, our yeast is easy to use: it does not need to be dissolved or reactivated in water, but added directly
to the flour. It can be used in all recipes, as a substitute for the usual brewer’s yeast.
Mix well before each use. We recommend using about 15-20 g of yeast (about 1 tablespoon) in 1 kg of flour. By simulating natural leavening, the resulting dough will require longer leavening times than a dough made with brewer’s yeast.
After opening the package, store the product in the refrigerator in a closed jar and consume within 6 months. It can be frozen.
