The Riggi company, aware of the damage of global change to human health and the environment, decided to embrace the concept of sustainable growth and use alternative energy for its production processes and additional business needs. Its photovoltaic system consists of 299 modules with an output of 100 KW, equivalent to about 90 tons per year of greenhouse gas emissions saved for production processes.

Riggi has long been sensitive to the issue of the environmental impact of the agricultural supply chain and its processing, so much so that it prefers regionally sourced organic grains for its production. Today it reaffirms its commitment on this front thanks to green production, which will soon be followed by the gradual reduction of packaging and the preference for more sustainable and recyclable packaging.

These choices place the company in a new market that aims to integrate environmental and security of supply objectives with those of competitiveness in the manufacturing system.
